Three weeks into my new job at one of the Big Four auditing companies in the world. I must say, it still feels rather surreal that I am actually in this company, working for them, accessing the barriers everyday, and interacting with my ‘colleagues’ there on a daily basis. As I said to my friends yesterday, I still feel like a peanut there. I am one of the youngest and newest in the team, I am one that lacks experience in this industry, but I believe that if one believes in what they do, works hard, commits and enriches in opportunities – sooner or later, this role will become a normality.
It my competitive side that comes about, which makes me who I am. It’s the side of me who wants to prove to others that I am able to do it. Being ambitious and having the ambiguity to succeed is my privilege as well as my aspiration.
As they say: Work hard, play hard – and there will not be any regrets.
